I am absolutely head over heals, blindly, unequivocally in love. Not with a boy, no - with a city called New York. Perhaps it is because I grew up most of my life in the middle of nowhere (well, to my standards), but the sheer energy the city possesses is invigorating. My family travels quite frequently, so I have been to several other cities such as Chicago and Seoul, but none compares with the diversity, fashion, art, and life New York City offers. I hope to be proven wrong actually...shhh, but I definitely will travel all over the world one day, and London is my dream city to live in. I shall find out in a couple of years if London wins over my love when I study abroad there. But for now, let me continue my gushing over New York City.
There are such strikingly contrasts I notice of New Yorkers and Oklahomans. Most New Yorkers do not give one f about what others think of them; thus, leading to some of the most wonderful fashions being in display. Oklahomans try so hard to be normal and fit into the crowd, it is painfully dull and monotonous. I cannot wait to be in the city for college this August! Eeep!
