If you are wanting to have a photoshoot with me, you must be willing to venture into the unknown woods, forests, corn fields...This girl was such a good model--it is always so much funner and easier to take photos when the subject is so effortless!
There is this corn field right in front of my house that I have always wanted to take photos in, and now I finally got to! God, I loveee living in the country sometimes. I'm trying to appreciate its beauty and do as much photoshoots as I can this next month.

The Start of Something
I am so in love with polaroids right now! I've already gone through 3 packs that are 28 dollars each (eeeep!) and I am already craving for more...Although the company Polaroid does not produce any more of these beauties, but you can get these cameras super cheap on eBay or through the Impossible Project that are refurnishing and selling all vintage polaroid cameras. I bought this pink one-step polaroid on eBay for $15 and another one I have, I got through the Impossible Project for $100ish. They look so lovely hanging on my walllllls <33 and will look even more lovely hanging on the walls of my New York City dorm room!

Aloha, Oahu!
This was our plane from Maui to Oahu.
We went parasailing! Originally, I was suppose to sky dive above the Pacific, but...that didn't happen...Oh well though, because parasailing was soooooo sick, oh my gosh, the view from up there was fantastic, the thrill was amazing, and ahhhh I want to do it again. I love a good adrenaline rush.
HOW can the water be so blue!?
View of Honolulu and Waikiki beach!
Harbor at Waikiki.
Okay, I saw these people parachuting and I begged and begged for me to do it too, but we didn't have enough time...It is on my bucket list to parachute in New Zealand, so I suppose I'll get my chance soon! It would've been breathtaking to fly down with the jungles of Oahu underneath me though...
At Pearl Harbor.
Aloha, Oahu! Mahalo for the unforgettable memories...Also for reminding me life is worth it, and why I must travel the world for the rest of my life.
Aloha, Maui!
I love packing. I love putting outfits together for the next couple of weeks. I love overpacking. I love traveling. I went to Hawai'i for my cousin's wedding, and here are only a fraction of the 4000+ photos I had taken during the most wonderful vacation!
If you aren't familiar, Maui is a little island (my family and I went around the entire island in 2-3 hours) that is a part of the state of Hawai'i. It is more isolated and full of resorts and just plain nature than the island of Oahu, which is where the capital of Hawai'i, Honolulu, is located. I think Maui is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. So determined to come back here with friends later in life!
Late nights on the beach is far more wonderful than anything I can think of at the moment. It's peaceful--all you can hear is the splash of the waves. All you can smell is the salt of the ocean and it's somehow weirdly refreshing. All you can see is the moonlight on the ocean that turns everything silver. All you can think of is how blessed you are and how you love life.
There is a highway called Hana highway and it is one of the most treacherous and scenic roads in the world. It goes through the mountainous jungle of the island, and it was indescribably beautiful. So take a look for yourself! We hiked through the jungle as well when the road got insanely dangerous to drive on...and we had to turn around and try to get back to our hotel before it got dark! There was literally one road at certain points, so we often had to honk as we drove on to warn incoming cars, there wouldn't be a town for miles, no gas stations, no phone signals--just plain nature...so scary, but one of the most memorable experiences ever.
This is the part of the island where Hana highway is located! So absolutely beautiful.
We went up above the clouds on the Haleakala volcano that is 10,000+ ft high to watch the sun rise! It was absolutely breathtaking...I mean we must see so many sun rises in our lifetimes, but to see such a sight on top of a volcano, surrounded by clouds is so magnificent that I was overwhelmed by how thankful I am to be alive and to be traveling. I felt like I was on top of the world. And invincible. I only feel this way when I am traveling. I love traveling.
This is my cousin, Hana, and she is one of my favorite people.
My tattoo is the most meaningful thing there is about me. Perhaps if you get to know me better, I'll tell you what it means ;)
My little brother is my favorite subject of photography! Haha! Because no one else would tolerate my constant snapping of photos on this vacation...
The view we had whilst eating dinner one day...
This is the island of Molokini we snuba dived at! The water was sooooooo clear and blue and ahhhhh can I just live in Maui?
In the early morn, my family took a long stroll on the beach when no one was out. Simple, effortless and quite free, but one of my favorite moments.
The view of Maui from our plane to Oahu! So devastated to leave, but I promise I'll be back...
Aloha, Maui! I'll see you again soon.
